Jeff Sluys is a Firefighter/Paramedic preceptor with 21 years of experience in fire service and EMS at Whatcom County Fire District 7. Jeff promotes bystander CPR education by volunteering with the American Heart Association ECC and is currently Chairperson of the AHA "Community" Committee. Jeff graduated from the University of Washington's Harborview Paramedic training program in 2009, and holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Western Washington University. Jeff was honored by the Citizen CPR Foundation at the 2019 Survivor's Summit with a 40 under 40 award. Whatcom County Fire District 7 recognized Jeff for his efforts in initiating a successful community resuscitation program and awarded the "Bob Howard" award in October, 2015.

Sheena Radder is a professional Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician at Whatcom County Fire District 7. She has been serving Whatcom County since 2007. Sheena is a certified instructor with the American Heart Association. She also leads a fire safety and prevention program that teaches first grade students a variety of fire and life safety topics.
Sheena is married with two children ages 12 and 13. She enjoys working in her garden, cooking, renovation projects and spending time with her family. Sheena is a lifelong learner in a variety of different disciplines.

Wesley Segar was born and raised in Southern California. After moving up to the Bellingham area in 2007, he joined the fire service as a volunteer while finishing his Bachelor degree at Western. Wesley is now a career firefighter/EMT with Whatcom County Fire District 7 and has been teaching CPR/First Aid in his free time. Wesley is currently attending paramedic training. Wesley is also a Basic Life Support instructor and enjoys teaching at the BTC EMT program. He has a passion to teach and pass on life saving skills to the community! He is married to the love of his life Shelby and has two gorgeous little girls. He and his wife enjoy photographing weddings professionally, and long walks with a coffees in hand!
